I'm Polish, I'm from Boston, and I've been selling on Ebay for twenty-five years. I'll let my daughter write the rest....... Tato, co do cholery chcesz, zebym napisla? My dad is fairly cool, although he will stop our conversation to show me 70s and 80s pop culture. He is the definition of the American 1980s, in almost every aspect. One outstanding moment from my childhood, is my dad taking us to thrift stores to pick up Ebay products! I didn't complain, I liked getting my Barbie Dolls. As I got older, there are many memories of me listing products, and it always ended in me running off with five dollars. Every Friday night would always end in ,,Yard sales tomorrow morning!" There were indeed yard sales. There were a lot of golden ones. Dad would stare at something for a minute, ask me to read small words, and then look it up. I could always tell if it was worth something if he looked at it again, picked it up, and had a sort of proud look. I would have my fair share of great finds too. When I was little, it ranged from little stuffed animals, to vintage barbie houses and ships that we only saw online. So many favorite toys of mine from my childhood were second-hand, they were something not one of my friends had. My dad's work area was cool as hell, too. All of the art work we gave him, he would hang up on the wall. That wall was covered in weeks! School photos, family photos, vintage Simpsons stamps, all were on that wall. He had two monitors, a spin-ny chair, and behind him is where he would take his photos. Often he would keep his Diet Dr. Pepper and saltines under his desk. We loved stealing the saltines. One thing you can always remember about my dad, is that he loves his work. Dad would always incorporate his work with his family, and that is how I have so many cherishable and important memories from my amazing childhood. Zawsze, kocham mojego tate.
